Delivery: 2-5 days delivery.
Colour: Nice colour variation from pieces sawn from the inside and outside of the tree.more knotting and character marks than classic grade.
Hardness and Stability: 80% as hard as Red Oak. Good average stability. The timber is moderately hard, tough, strong and is easily worked. It finishes well and takes an excellent polish.
Installation: Floating,Secret nail or glue down. Allow at least 2-10% for wastage when installing and simply cut out pieces you do not like.
Underfloor Heating: Suitable for underfloor heating.
The most prised for its colour and grain is American Black Walnut. The colour can range from a pale brown to dark chocolate brown and darker brown streaks with a creamy coloured sapwood. Sometimes a purple or reddish cast adds to its warmth
