Delivery Areas
We deliver wood flooring nationwide across mainland UK. Deliveries are made by our nominated third-party carrier, Monday to Friday during normal working hours.
Kerbside Delivery
All deliveries are made to kerbside only — the nearest accessible point where the delivery vehicle can safely unload at your nominated address. Wood flooring is a heavy item and packs should only be lifted with assistance from another person.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide adequate labour to unload goods from the delivery vehicle and to ensure the property is accessible by large delivery vehicles.
Delivery Timescales
We will endeavour to supply goods upon the agreed delivery date. In the event of the Company being unable to meet agreed dates, no claim shall arise against the Company by the Customer. We will always contact you if there is a delay to your delivery.
Collection
Goods can also be collected from our warehouse at Unit 11, Malham Road Industrial Estate, Forest Hill, London SE23 1AH. Please contact us in advance to arrange a collection time.
Checking Your Delivery
- Inspect goods at the time and place of unloading.
- Any breakage, error or shortage must be notified within 72 hours of receipt. After this time no claim shall arise.
- Check the moisture content of the goods immediately upon delivery with an accurately calibrated moisture meter. Any complaint must be made by telephone and confirmed in writing within 24 hours of delivery.
- Store goods in appropriate conditions to preserve the moisture content at the time of delivery.
Failed Deliveries
If you fail to take delivery of the Goods or fail to provide adequate delivery instructions, the Company may store the Goods and charge for the reasonable costs of storage. The carrier may also impose additional charges for redelivering the goods.
Risk and Title
Risk in the Goods passes to the Customer upon delivery. Title in the goods does not pass until payment has been received in full as cleared funds.
